2009-2010 projects planned or underway

  • The role of prejudice and ethnoviolence in sports and its social implication
  • A critical inventory of public and private resources available to victims of discrimination and ethnoviolence with policy recommendations for NGOs and local and federal government. 
  • Review of the current proposals concerning the varieties of prejudice (e.g., symbolic, modern, laissez faire, aversive, etc.) focusing on their policy implications
  • Continuation of our studies of the mass media treatment of gender, race and ethnic relations
  • The self-attitudes and social circles of hate crime perpetrators
  • Identifying the types of discrimination - a unique examination of discriminatory incidents geared at creating a reporting system
  • Exploring ethnoviolence in the high schools
  • Development activities including expanding our website readership, increasing our donor base, marketing our consulting services, and participation in grant writing
